    imaginaryrawr: ilovecharts: The Circles of Hell via Saki A week or so ago someone said something about burning in the Ninth Layer of Hell. I wanted to correct them since the Ninth Circle is actually ice, but couldn’t remember which one was fire. It’s the Seventh Circle. The Seventh Circle is fire. Which makes that person either blasphemous or a sodomite. Probably. It would be nice to think I would only end up in the Second Circle. But chances are I’d be in the Fifth Circle. You know, the whole wrath thing. My latin name is Cassius, you know… the guy in the center of the ninth circle being chewed endlessly in Lucifer’s jaws (or the three-headed dog Cerberus). It gets worse: I am Corey Long, he is Gaius Cassius Longinus (he went by Cassius). He was the man who assassinated Julias Caesar. So to recap: My name in Celtic means “The Hollow”, I was born on Friday the 13th, and my latin name is the name of one of the 3 greatest sinners of all time according to the great Dante. I don’t think I was meant to belong to any religion. As Shakespeare once said (quoted by Julius Caesar in Shakespeare’s play) about the man who’s name is roughly the same as mine in latin, “Yond Cassius has a lean and hungry look; He thinks too much: such men are dangerous.”
